For the last few years, members of the Copiague Middle School Student Council, with the assistance of their adviser Stephanie Colagiacomo, have donated one afternoon in December to writing letters to Santa Claus as part of the Macy’s Believe campaign. For each letter to Santa that Macy’s receives in their specially designated Santa Mail Letterboxes, $1 is donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
