To commemorate the 27th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Booster Club presented a plaque of recognition to Toni Clemens for her consistent support of the Copiague athletic department. A longtime resident of Copiague, Mrs. Clemens graduated from Copiague High School, where she was an active member in the athletic department as well as a school leader. Currently, she is a teacher assistant at Great Neck Road Elementary School and vice president of the Booster Club. Additionally, Mrs. Clemens is active in the Copiague community, having served as a youth league coach, religion teacher and Cub and Girl Scout leader.
