Copiague Scholars Are Advanced

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program (AP) provides motivated and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school, and to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students’ performance on AP Exams. At Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School three (3) students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more exams. These students are: Amanda Haran (12th Grade) Gregory Lane (12th Grade) William A. Marmol (12th Grade) Eight of our students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing 3 or more AP Exams with grades of 3 or higher. The AP Scholars are: Shannon Blackler (12th Grade) Christian T. Hodges (12th Grade) Sarah C. Jordon (12th Grade) Diane Lam (12th Grade) Jessica N. Murphy (12th Grade) Nicole J. Perez (12th Grade) Cassandra G. Riggio (12th Grade) Ashley N. Smith (12th Grade)
