Helping to spread good will and holiday spirit, members of the Copiague Heroes club at Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School, accompanied by their advisers Alline Torrey and Dr. Linda Caputo, visited the Dominican Village Retirement Home in Amityville. During their visit, the students assisted with the setup of the Village’s annual holiday party, as well as helped serve beverages and acted as the welcome committee for guests. Additionally, the Madrigal Choir, under the direction of Gina Ochiogrosso, performed a series of holiday songs for the residents and their guests. The Copiague Heroes club is a community service group that works to better their hometown through various activities and fundraisers.
