The Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School 4x400 relay team of seniors Jon Argueta, DJ Brown and Max Tsar and sophomore Aaron McFadden set a school record and placed second at the Penn Relays on April 27 at the University of Pennsylvania. Their time of 3:25.28 was just 00:00.01 off of the winning time set by a team from New Jersey.
The Penn Relays is the oldest and largest track-and-field competition in the United States, hosted annually since 1895. It attracts athletes from high schools, colleges and track clubs through North America and abroad.
