Throughout the week of Sept. 24, Eagle pride soared through the halls of Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School as students, staff and administrators prepared for Homecoming 2012. Emblazoned in blue and white, the student body excitedly participated in their Friday afternoon pep rally, culminating their spirit week activities. Spirits remained high on Saturday as school leaders and community members enjoyed a parade, a carnival-like fair, and watching the varsity football team take on the Smithtown West Bulls.
