To commemorate Physical Education and Sports Week, the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School and Copiague Middle School held their annual pentathlon physical education units. Students in grades 6-10 competed against their classmates in the 50-meter dash, 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, long jump, and shot put. The winning pentathlon students, one male and one female from each grade, were awarded plaques for their outstanding achievement.
