On Friday, June 22, members of the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Class of 2012 were celebrated by members of the Board of Education, administration, family, friends, faculty, and invited guests as they officially completed their educational journey through the Copiague School District. During the ceremony, students were treated to words of advice and wisdom from Board of Education President Michael Greb, Superintendent of Schools Charles A. Leunig, High School Principal Jeanette Altruda, Valedictorian Jessica Murphy, and Salutatorian Laury Gomez-Pena.
