Members of the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School boys and girls varsity track teams competed and left their mark at the 118th Penn Relays in Philadelphia, PA. The 4x400 team of Desmond Guidroz, Mike Benson, DJ Brown, and Jon Argueta ran a season best time of 3:31.37 and won their race with an amazing come-from-behind victory. For the girls, the teams consisting of Ashley Arquer, Ashley Jackson, Cypher McCloud, Janel Francis, Brittney Walsh, and Bria Grandison took placed second in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relay.
