For the last 10 years, members of the Copiague Middle School Builders Club, along with their advisor Maria Ostrofsky, have volunteered one Sunday in October to participate in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Leading up to the walk, students raise funds to donate to the organization. This year, the club raised more than $2,000.
